At the moment we are experiencing a hard time with the current restrictions. Not being able to see friends and family and keep our regular routines is stressful and the added pressure of remote learning does not make it easier! I would like to remind parents and carers that the services of the School Counsellor are still available.
I am contactable during school hours on my usual days, Tuesdays and Fridays, for phone check-ins with parents and carers and am also running online sessions through Coviu, a private and custom-built online video system that allows School Counsellors to coninue providing sessions to students when we can't meet face-to-face. Video sessions are suited to students from Year 2 and up, support for students in Kindy and Year 1 is better provided through consultation with parents and carers, although video sessions can be organised if they are suitable.
